Growing Up Hatch Challenge Growth List of Spurts in Pokemon Go
Growing Up Hatch Challenge: Growth Spurt is A Collection Challenge which runs through the Growing Up event in Pokemon Go. This is why you need to complete this challenge prior to Wednesday, May 7th at 8 pm (local hour) to earn its rewards and earn it as part of your Elite Collector medal.
The acquisition of these Pokemon via other methods like trading won't count towards this challenge.
The Growing Up field research task in Pokemon Go
Participating in at a PokeStop while Growing Up could earn you an event-exclusive research assignment. The tasks can be saved to complete following the Pokemon Go event if you opt to.
• Evolve a Pokémon - Wailmer, Wimpod encounter, Swablu, or Magikarp,
• Power up Pokémon 5 times - shiny magikarp, Swablu, Wailmer, or Wimpod encounter

Growing Up runs through Wednesday, May 7th around 8 pm (local hour) and has five bonus items. One is double-evolution of XP and the other is a double hatch candy. The chances of encountering XXS as well as XXL Pokemon out in the wild have been enhanced. The two bonus rewards include all shiny connected. Wimpod has a higher chance of shining in the wild as well as from eggshells. However, Magikarp and Swablu both have increased chances of shining when encountered in the wild.
